Η Ελληνο-Κινέζικη Ένωση οικονομικής, εμπορικής και πολιτιστικής συνεργασίας ιδρύθηκε το Νοέμβριο του 2007 από 38 Έλληνες και Κινέζους με οικονομικές και πολιτιστικές δραστηριότητες. Ο τ. Πρέσβης της Κίνας στην Ελλάδα κ. Tian Xuejun, ο Πρόεδρος κ. Νίκος Παπαδόπουλος και ο κ. Lan Xiao Cheng συναντήθηκαν και αποφάσισαν την συνέχιση της λειτουργίας της Ένωσης σε νέα βάση μέσα την προώθηση μη κυβερνητικών ανταλλαγών, φιλικής συνεργασίας των δύο χωρών, ανταλλαγής απόψεων και νέες δραστηριότητες, ώστε η Ένωση να μπορεί να διαδραματίζει έναν ουσιαστικό και ενεργό ρόλο . Από το 2008 η Ελληνο-Κινέζικη Ένωση λειτουργεί ως Σωματείο, σύμφωνα με την υπ’ αριθ. 2774 / 2008 Απόφαση του Πρωτοδικείου Αθηνών και δεν έχει πολιτικό ή κερδοσκοπικό χαρακτήρα.

ü ΣΚΟΠΟΣ ΚΑΙ ΥΠΗΡΕΣΙΕΣ ΤΗΣ ΕΝΩΣΗΣ:

Σκοπός της Ένωσης είναι, η καλλιέργεια, η ανάπτυξη και η ενθάρρυνση των κάθε μορφής σχέσεων μεταξύ της Ελληνικής Δημοκρατίας και της Λαϊκής Δημοκρατίας της Κίνας, με κάθε πρόσφορο μέσο. Προωθεί, συμβουλεύει και βοηθάει στην ανάπτυξη και τη διερεύνηση των οικονομικών και εμπορικών σχέσεων μεταξύ Ελλάδας και Κίνας μέσα από ένα ευρύ φάσμα δραστηριοτήτων όπως η οικονομία, το εμπόριο, οι επιστήμες, οι επενδύσεις, η νέες τεχνολογίες, ο τουρισμός, η ναυτιλία, ο πολιτισμός, κ.α. μέσω ανταλλαγής απόψεων, ουσιαστικού και εποικοδομητικού διαλόγου, προσωπικών επαφών και συζητήσεων, οργάνωσης σεμιναρίων και διεξαγωγής πολιτιστικών και άλλων συναφών δραστηριοτήτων. Προάγει την αμοιβαία συνεννόηση και συνεργασία μεταξύ του Ελληνικού και του Κινέζικου λαού που συνδέονται με δεσμούς φιλίας και εμπιστοσύνης .
